What's in a name?

A name giving ceremony is more than a name reveal. The ceremony is about welcoming your new baby into the world and into your family; it's about giving you the opportunity to state your hopes and dreams for your baby while surrounded by friends and family. If you have recently had a baby and want to welcome them, surrounded by family and friends, but are looking for an alternative to a religious Christening or Baptism, then a name giving ceremony gives you this opportunity. It's a lovely way to introduce your new addition to friends and loved ones.

If you are planning to have a ceremony for your baby, get in touch and we can organise a time to meet and discuss your ideas.

My role

It takes a village ... and it's my job to help you welcome your new baby into your village: your family, your extended relatives, your friends, you community, your support networks. We work together to create a ceremony that can include your hope and dreams for your new addition, while also sharing your journey towards becoming parents.
